Education for Empowerment
Speaking Engagements for Educators
I teach courses on autism inclusion, early intervention, and supporting neurodivergent students, all grounded in the belief that every child deserves to be seen as a whole person, not a diagnosis. In my teaching, I help educators understand how to create learning environments where students’ strengths, communication styles, and sensory needs are respected and supported. Early intervention is a key part of this work, giving children the tools to connect, communicate, and participate meaningfully from the very beginning. I guide teachers to slow down, observe carefully, and intentionally model the social, emotional, and learning behaviors we want students to internalize. Through flexible thinking, predictable routines, and purposeful collaboration with families, educators learn how to adapt instruction so every child can access the curriculum in a way that feels safe, empowering, and authentic. My courses are designed to help teachers build inclusive classrooms where neurodivergent learners can truly thrive.
Parent Coaching and Consultations
One-on-one virtual or in-person coaching sessions are available to help parents learn practical coping skills that support the day-to-day realities of raising a neurodivergent child. These sessions focus on understanding your child’s triggers, recognizing early signs that a crisis or meltdown may be emerging, and using strategies that de-escalate, soothe, and rebuild connection. Together, we explore tools that fit naturally into your routines—such as sensory supports, communication approaches, co-regulation techniques, and ways to stay grounded when emotions run high. The goal is to help you feel more prepared, confident, and supported so you can navigate challenging moments with compassion and clarity while strengthening your relationship with your child.
Educator and Caregiver Training Session
One-on-one virtual or in-person coaching sessions are also available for educators and caregivers who support neurodivergent children in schools, childcare settings, or community programs. These sessions focus on building practical, compassionate strategies to navigate challenging behaviors, recognize early signs of dysregulation, and intervene before a crisis or meltdown becomes imminent. Together, we explore approaches that strengthen co-regulation, model emotional safety, and create predictable routines that help children feel secure and understood. We also work on communication techniques, sensory-informed practices, and relationship-based supports that can be embedded naturally into daily interactions. The goal is to equip educators and caregivers with the tools and confidence they need to respond calmly, reduce overwhelm, and foster inclusive, supportive environments where every child can learn and thrive.
